I will contact you back within 1-5 business days (if I have not gotten in touch with you by then, feel free to shoot me another email). Once we have settled on the final price, I will send you a PayPal invoice. Please do NOT send me the money; instead wait for me to send you the invoice.
Once the invoice has been processed, I will begin work on your sketch! I will send you a progress shot once I have completed the pencil rough draft – now is the time for all major revisions. Because of the nature of watercolor, once I have started laying down the ink, I cannot make any major changes to the piece.
After all revisions have been made, I start the inking process. Depending on the style, this process could take a while to complete. The Painterly style takes the most time whereas Limited Color takes the least. I cannot accurately estimate the amount of time it will take for your piece to be finished as it will vary wildly depending on the nature of the artwork but I do guarantee that I will maintain contact with my clients throughout the entire process.
I will update you via email several times throughout the inking process to show you where the artwork is at and to take any minor revisions.
When the commission is finished, I will scan the piece in and provide you with a high quality photo of your artwork. I will then package it up and ship it to you!
